Dealing with Deal Or No Deal

With the reintroduction of the game show Deal Or No Deal, the National Postcode Lottery is bringing one of the most successful TV programmes ever (the format was sold to 82 countries at the time) back on the tube.

The game revolves around opening suitcases containing sums of money. The aim is to leave with as high an amount as possible, which can be up to €200,000!

In this renewed version, a new gamification element has been added, which allows participants to also play online. After an online preliminary round where many tens of thousands of participants compete and win small prizes, ten candidates are selected each week, five studio candidates and five -so-called- home players, who can compete for a prize pool of up to 200,000 euros.

It is Sidekix's job to make sure that every week ten selected candidates are available for the recordings in the TV studio and at a special "home game" location in Amsterdam. Sidekix's Contact Center invites Postcode Lottery participants on behalf of Deal Or No Deal and makes sure that ten players are available for each show, as well as ensuring that they are well-informed about the game show of the day.

All information about the participants is fed back to the Postcode Lottery and the game manager of Deal Or No Deal so that they can welcome the final participants to the show.
